Integrated computer support for environmental impact assessment

Abstract

The working group InMeWerkUm (Integration of methods and tools for Environmental Impact Assessment) tried to find out the need for and the different concepts of integration based on the assumption that the computer support for environmental impact assessment (EIA) is only useful if it offers an integrated support for the various aspects of this specific application domain. An inquiry and several interviews were made and a workshop for environmental planners was organized.
